Well you guys, for the second year in a row I have been paired with an amazingly talented blogger. Niamh really knocked it out of the park with her papercut portrait last year, and I am just blown away by the thoughtful gift Emily at Tony the Pony sent me this year. She even sent it to my parents place in Virginia to make sure I’d get it before Christmas!
I’m sure you guys have figured this out by now, but I am deeply in love with my horse. He’s all I talk about, he’s all over my apartment, and most everything I do is centered around making time to be with him and making money to do activities with him.
He also happens to be quite nice to look at. And so I’ve been trying to come up with someone to do a commissioned something of him for a little while now that was different from a standard painting. But now I have this. And it’s so perfect. She captured the life in his eyes so beautifully and the intelligence in his sweet face. I love it so so so much, Emily, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am. As if that wasn’t enough, she also sent cookies for Val who will do anything for a good cookie, and coffee for me which really is the only other way to my heart other than my horse.
Thanks so much for organizing Tracy, and thankyouthankyouthankyou Emily for the perfect gift. If you aren’t familiar with Emily’s blog, all I’ll say is she has a Haffie that is super cute, and may or may not magically find himself in Austin one day.
